Motorcyclist crushed to death by blueline bus near Dilshad Garden Metro Station

A 33-year-old man was mowed down by a Blueline bus near the Dilshad Garden Metro station in northeast Delhi morning. The deceased, identified as Man Singh, was riding his motorcycle when the speeding bus hit him from behind, killing him instantly. While the driver of the Blueline flee the spot, the helper was beaten up by locals who also damaged the bus.

Singh was returning to his residence in old Seelampur from Vivek Vihar after dropping his five-year-old daughter, Chinki, to school around 8.30am. The bus, plying from Mori Gate to Seemapuri, was impounded and a case of death caused by rash and negligent driving has been registered. The body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem. Singh is survived by his wife, three sons and daughter.
